Third Annual Holiday Art Auction & Oyster Fry is scheduled for Saturday, November 10, 2018, at the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum.
Groups are invited to the Third Annual ART AUCTION and Oyster Fry. This year’s dinner features even more delicious oysters served from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Attendees can expect the opportunity to enjoy mouthwatering food and to bid on art made by tribal and local artist Ron Pulliam ~ Wood Turner. The event is hosted by hosted by Chinook Indian Nation.
Everyone is invited to attend this fun and exciting event to kick off the holiday season! Throughout the evening participating tribal members will be singing, drumming, and dancing in the Chinook tradition.
There will be a silent auction featuring local and native artists, as well as Chinook fundraising merchandise and items crafted by tribal members and local artists.
On the menu is fresh local oysters, fried to perfection, and served with Chinook style smoked salmon chowder, coleslaw, and garlic bread. Also offered are deluxe hot dogs with all the trimmings served with homemade Mac & Cheese as an alternate meal. The desserts are chocolate cake with buttercream icing and pumpkin pie with whipped cream, and beverages of water, punch, tea, and coffee are also included in the price of the ticket. Tickets are $15 and will be available at the door starting at 4 PM.
